Photography I

Photography I teaches students the basics of 35mm Black and White Photography. Students learn the parts of the camera and their function, how to achieve optimal exposures, and how to process and develop their film. Each project builds on mastering both technical skill as well as creative use of compositional techniques. With the use of film, students learn to slow down and compose the shot before clicking the shutter. Each image involves careful thought, planning, and intention.
