Art History
Art History teaches students to be more visually literate in order to interpret works from historical and modern cultures. Students learn the elements and principles and how artist apply these to different media. Students learn to critique work using vocabulary relating to the work. From prehistoric works to contemporary art, students learn about major art movements, historical impacts, and it's influence through viewing, discussing, and creating work.
